SCR 2.100 REQUIREMENT OF LICENSE TO PRACTICE LAW; PREREQUISITES

       An applicant approved under Rule Rule 2.095 to be granted admission to practice law in this state shall apply for and be granted a certificate of admission prior to engaging in the practice of law in this state. As prerequisites for the issuance of such admission through examination or without examination, an applicant approved under Rule 2.095 shall submit to the Clerk satisfactory evidence of payment of the current annual dues or fees of the Kentucky Bar Association authorized under SCR 3.040, shall be administered the constitutional oath of office either by a Justice of the Supreme Court or by the Clerk of the Supreme Court, and shall pay to the Clerk a final Board certification fee of fifty dollars ($50.00). Upon completion of the prerequisites, the Clerk shall deliver to the applicant a certificate of admission on a form approved by the Court, and the issuance of the certificate shall be duly recorded by the Clerk.
