Rule Changes

Effective January 1, 2002, the Supreme Court amended the Rules for Admission of Persons to the Practice of Law.  This amendment was mainly to re-organize and re-number the rules for admission.

However, pursuant to SCR 2.015, persons now applying for admission under SCR 2.111 and SCR 2.112 are now required to have taken and passed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) before being admitted to the Kentucky bar.
